Qitaihe Mountain lake Agriculture Technology CO LTD is a pioneer manufacturer of speciality water soluble fertilizer for agriculture & horticulture in China. It was found in early 2007 aiming for manufacture of high quality water soluble humic acid powder and dedicated for modern organic agricultural application by using the unique humate material from Xingkai lake area (Khanka lake in Russia part) Chinese northern east Heilongjiang province. This humate material, commonly called "Leonardite" (a kind of soft coal), contains highly oxidized organic materials and minerals laid down over time. When applied to farm soils, Leonardite improves soil conditions and plant nutrient uptake.

Mountain lake has owned two newly explored and valuable leonardite mines near the boarder between China and Russia since 2005. At the present time, there are two main Lenoardite sourcing areas in China which separately are Xinjiang province and Heilongjiang province with the highest quality more than 65% humic acid and fulvic acid content.
